Participation in Embedded World Conference 2024

Joined industry leaders and experts in Nuremberg, Germany, to explore the latest trends and innovations in embedded systems and IoT technologies at Embedded World Conference 2024.

Conference Presentations at University of Pécs POLLACK EXPO

Delivered two presentations at the annual POLLACK EXPO 2024, organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pécs. Together with my colleague Konrád Varga, I presented our team’s latest research developments. In a separate session, I discussed recent advancements in smart home technologies, highlighting innovative solutions and their practical applications.

OTDK National Scientific Students Conference – Second Prize

Awarded second prize in the design section among all participants from different Hungarian universities at the 36th OTDK national scientific conference in Budapest, Hungary. (April 2023)

Solar Decathlon Europe 2021-22

Represented the University of Pécs as a team member in the renowned Solar Decathlon Europe 2021-22, an international competition emphasizing sustainable building and innovation. The event took place in Wuppertal, Germany, in June 2022. Learn more about the competition here.

Vice President of Engineers Without Borders UK, Pécs Chapter

Served as Vice President of the Engineers Without Borders UK, Pécs Chapter, where I led initiatives and coordinated projects aimed at advancing sustainable engineering solutions within the local community. Engineers Without Borders UK, is a UK-based charity and movement focused on transforming engineering to address global challenges and promote social and environmental responsibility . Key achievements of our chapter include:

• Participated in the Engineering for People Design Challenge: Lobitos and Piedritas, Peru (2020–21), collaborating on innovative solutions to address challenges faced by two neighboring communities on Peru’s northern coast.
• Secured funding from the EU Teens 4 Green organization for the “Young Engineers Without Borders – Transitioning to a Circular Economy” project, which promoted circular economy concepts through sustainability activities, repair and maintenance workshops, and the establishment of a makers lab at the university. • Conducted outreach at local high schools, delivering workshops to inspire students to engage with circular economy principles and sustainability initiatives.

Valedictorian Speech

Delivered the valedictorian speech at the University of Pécs graduation ceremony, representing the graduating class and sharing reflections on academic journeys, challenges, and future aspirations. The speech emphasized the importance of perseverance, collaboration, and lifelong learning in shaping successful careers and meaningful contributions to society.

Poster Presentation at International Conference for Biomedical Engineering and Information Technology (ICBEI)

Presented a poster titled “Comfort Parameters Measuring IoT Device for Basic Human Health Monitoring in Office Environments” at the International Conference for Biomedical Engineering and Information Technology (ICBEI) in Pécs, Hungary (October 2022). More info here.
